What HAS changed: my hair is longer (not for long).
What has NOT changed: I still hate spending money on haircuts.
What has NOT changed: we love talking to each other.
What HAS changed: the majority of our talking is happy and we use our inside voices.
What has NOT changed: we still live in Utah.
What HAS changed: we don't live in Provo.
What HAS changed: we don't have to choose between paying our tithing and eating.
What has NOT changed: we still like to eat.
What HAS changed: neither of us are in school anymore.
What has NOT changed: I learn new stuff all the time from the family doctor (that's TC).
What HAS changed: we don't have a couch from DI anymore.
What has NOT changed: I still spend an inordinate amount of time on the couch, especially in winter.
What has NOT changed: we still eat pizza on a weekly basis.
What HAS changed: my pizzas look less and less like amoebas and more like pizza shaped objects.
What has NOT changed: we still eat out once a week as a treat for a week hard won.
What HAS changed: our weekly food treat is no longer at Wendy's and under $6.
What HAS changed: we exercise together.
What has NOT changed: we still look for any excuse to sit on our bums instead (we=me in this case).
What HAS changed: we have better taste in music.
What has NOT changed: we still sing back-up for each other in the shower.
So, ten years has brought progress and change, and a lot of things have stayed the same. Funny how that happens.
And they said we wouldn't make it...
