Last night I made an entirely seasonally inappropriate meal, but for some reason I was in the mood for a cozy warm dinner despite the oppressive heat. We had vegetable gumbo with biscuits. I have several current injuries to tell you about:My right thumbnail is torn pretty deep. I keep a band-aid on it constantly to make sure the rest of the nail doesn't snag on anything and rip off prematurely. I injured myself when moving a garbage can approximately three feet.
